Here at The Garrison Wickersley, we pride ourselves on using locally sourced ingredients alongside supporting other small businesses, such as our draught suppliers Abbeydale Brewery, our wine suppliers The Grape Kitchen and our cheesemongers Cryer and Stott.
ABOUT US
We are a 1920s themed restaurant that aims to serve local produce alongside a variety of unique drink options. All of our food is made fresh in house. Alongside our current menu, we have a specials board that changes weekly. Gift vouchers can be purchased in the restaurant throughout the year.
In October 2020, we opened our doors to the public, only to fall into a national lockdown the following week. Through persistence and the generous support of our customers, we continued to serve a takeaway menu throughout the lockdown period.

Only two years after opening, we achieved the Winner of Best Restaurant South Yorkshire Award at the England's Business Awards 2022. One year later, we were awarded the Best Traditional Local Restaurant 2023 – Rotherham by LUX Life Magazine. In 2024, we were the winners of Come Dine With Me The Professionals (South Yorkshire region). Most recently, we have been awarded Excellence in Food Service 2025 by Business Awards UK.​
